It started with a question. A student came to me after returning from a weekend meditation retreat. He had been practicing for a few months and the retreat had opened something — he felt peaceful, expansive, genuinely at ease. Then he went back to work. Within a couple of hours it was gone. "How do I keep this?" he asked. "How do I carry what I find in meditation into the rest of my life?" It was the right question. And at the time, I didn't have a complete answer. __________
